Art Mentor Program in Santa Monica
Tuesday Evenings 6-10 pm
This program is for a selected group of artists, who want to
work with their love of art and gain the tools to bring it
out.
You
will work alongside of me in my spacious gallery, and you
will gain experience, knowledge, and comradeship while
developing your skill and projects.
You
need to bring your art materials, easel, visual references
(studies, photos, props), drop cloth. There are plenty of
chairs in the gallery.
Tuesday Evenings from 6 to 10 pm, parking on Colorado and in
the building's parking lot.
Spots are limited.

Sundays 3-6 pm

It's a weekly
3 hour figure drawing session, uninstructed, with a
unclothed male or female model in a comfortable art gallery
setting in Santa Monica. It's great for artists that want to
keep their hand fresh and for people that would like to
develop their skills in a relaxed no pressure, yet focused
atmosphere.
The gallery will have several chairs and stools.
You will need to bring:
Newsprint for quick sketches;
Some good paper for longer poses, such as Rives BFK (about
$3 a sheet, great stuff);
Soft graphite pencils 6B's, or soft charcoal pencils 6B's,
and conte for the quick sketches.
Kneaded erasers are great.
An easel (if you want to stand);
And a drawing board or a cardboard portfolio (which also
holds the paper.)
